Tips for parent interaction with The Rattles:

• Encourage your child to sing along
• Make up your own songs
• Dance to the beat: freestyle or follow the leader - model simple movements that your child can repeat and add to in a pattern
• Jump to the beat
• Clap to the beat
• Count to the beat: this teaches counting skills and time signatures
• Play a rhythmic instrument to the beat
• Create your own instruments and play along: drums, shakers, etc.
• Talk about the different emotions a song creates. Does the song
  make you feel happy? Sad? Tired? Energetic?
• Talk about the story told by a song
• Try putting your favorite poem or story to music
